Love it... but speaking as the apprentice carpenter through all my formal education years I can tell you the only way to sharpen a carpenters pencil is with a utility knife... razor blade perfect. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utility_knife
The Stanley 99E most likely as well.. The one I used 20 years ago still works today (with a few new blades though)

Isn't the point of a carpenter pencil so that you can just sharpen it with your knife and don't have to carry around a sharpener all day?
