Must be cotton and made in India or it is not madras... that seems to be generally accepted. From the vault...older Stussy madras shirt, pre-1996, made in India (hat tip to SS for crossing the t's on that part) and nice details at sleeves. Got this on Nantucket 93/94?? Shop name escapes me but had a good little streetwear selection, (with the striped awning). Like the top loop&button and/or flat collar on my casual shirts have to say... and as mentioned somewhere else yday it is good to have a shirt that doesn't clutch your arms. On a madras kick right now; any inexpensive ties or pocket ballast suggestions??

Noticed a very similar Stussy Madras short sleeve at that little streetwear place next to the new (aboveground) Tannery down on Brattle St. Was nice meeting you at the flea last week.

Cordial Churchman has some stellar madras bowties, and at 26 a pop...you can't go wrong.
