Brilliant article from at least a decade ago... 15 years even?? by family friend Bill Reed written for the Manchester (VT) Journal. The image of firing up to Bromley in your Saab while wiping greasy chicken-wing-hands on your socks... so classic. Thanks Bill. The Grand Onion (Grand Union, the GU) is now a Shaw's. At least my swipey key thing works there too...

Ha. I think the the first chicken wings I ever ate were from the grand union deli counter. Always accompanied by the store brand Penguin sodas. Grape please.
