Interesting story of it's sale in 2000, when sale end bonuses were distributed to the 325 employees -to the tune of $18M stunning industry watchers. The then CEO Charles Butcher was a businessman and socially responsible philanthopist. He passed away in 2004, there is a fascinating obit' in the NYT.
