10E2701 | Fridays Are Ties Days - Lemon Presser

Again for those in the back... just stick with a 'four in hand' or schoolboy knot.

Derek Guy/dieworkwear did a history of the name and signalling of 4IH and Windsor knots etc that is great https://x.com/dieworkwear/status/1830190184887210073

"Bond mistrusted anyone who tied his tie with a Windsor knot. It showed too much vanity." FRWL

I really dig a niche icon tie. This woven “‘57” represents a Trinity College (CT) tradition began in 1857 - the wooden lemon squeezer associated with the lemonade that a popular College staff member made each year on Class Day [first day of classes - ed]  The phrase 'make lemonade from lemons' didnt come into popular use until 1910s and may not be related to this tradition.

"alynn" neckties were the brainchild of Alan and Lynn Cadan, who founded the brand in 1979 in their CT home w a tilt to more creative/wacky designs. Dig it. Still going in this vein - https://www.alynn.com

10E2700 | Turn The Collar

Just as explaining a joke takes away the fun... I didnt get the 'before' picture of the shredded collar, but you know what I mean...

Turning the collar on a shirt is an older trick.  Unstitch blown out collar, flip it over, restitch. Like khakis have a 'half life' some shirts live forever from anyday-to weekends only-to lawnmowing.
