Just recently started to keep a little bit of salt and pepper going, on the side, before cooking dinner. Insanely handy. My world has been altered. Big peppercorn fan and no way would I buy/use a shaker of pre-ground pepper, but this feels different... Plus you get to do sumo-esqe salt/pepper throwing from on high into your pan.
