10E2576: Things I Didn't Win On eBay | Warm Pants
Cold weather is round the corner. I have an older paint-splattered pair already but missed out on these crisp 'black tie' winter Carhartt's...

10E2550: Carhartt Centennial 'Storm Rider'
Barely worn, unwashed 12oz denim. Carhartt's take on a Lee Storm Rider is a symphony of texture; cord, blanket lining and 'stand-up' indigo. Made in USA natch - in 1989. #barnscore

get winterized -hat liner

Mentioned these in one of the first-ever 10e posts. Hard hat liners work great for getting your caps into wintermode, or for an extra layer under your helmet to cover your ears. These are from Bullard, who contend to be the inventor of the hard hat; nice potted history at their site. A smooth acrylic knit. Button is a nice feature rather than velcro. the ebay box
A box provided by eBay that encourages re-use; to ship it forward as they say. Not bad idea... Believe the first run has already gone out; anyone get one?? Review? Spotted on TheDieLine. By our calculations, if every box gets reused at least five times, we could protect nearly 4,000 trees, save 2.4 million gallons of water and conserve enough energy to power 49 homes for a year. We’ve also left plenty of space on the boxes for you – and everyone else who receives the box – to write a personal message to the next person in the chain, giving every box a life of its very own. The history of each box can also be tracked through a virtual community where buyers and sellers can connect online. [not into that part myself. -ed]
It’s normal for boxes to get a few bumps and scrapes as they travel, and some of you may be wondering what happens when a box reaches the end of its useful shipping life. Not to worry, we’ve thought about that too. All of the eBay Boxes are made from 100% recycled content, FSC-certified corrugated cardboard and are fully recyclable.
