Lambchop's eleventh album Mr. M is due out through City Slang on 20th February, and will be accompanied by a UK and European tour.

Believe this was from 2007, but had not seen before now. No such Silence | Live at the AB Brussels. 22 cameras capture this concert -rich and soothing sounds -artful and tasty editing... plus a 43 minute documentary. A little lush for me, but perfect to maybe get into Lambchop.

Lambchop was on Michael Jonathan's WoodSongs Old-Time Radio House, last Monday, January 26. Streaming media available from today here. They were preceded by the Tannahill Weavers in this clip (a Scottish trad band). Lambchop at the 16 and 47 minute mark. Play. They tell the story of how they came up w/ 'lambchop' as a name incase you didn't know (i didn't). Lot of chatting. Good stuff.

morning becomes eclectic -nick harcourt final show

I hadn't looked in a while...and now see Nick Harcourt just finished a 10-year run at KCRW. Final show above from November 28th. The archives there are stacked, a must-look. Have had a few shows; Lambchop, Cat Power, Willie Nelson and Be Good Tanyas bookmarked for years. The Willie Nelson show is really excellent.

Our man in London saw Lambchop last weekend at the Union Chapel in Islington and despite sitting right under a drip from the leaky old roof, says...

"they were superb. Wagner popped downstairs to sign some stuff afterwards so picked up a CD and shook him warmly by the hand. barely resisted the temptation to get a cheesey convention photo with us side-by-side. mad farm hand/trucker chic.
