You know it and love it...

Sanford L. Cluett; a man of curiosity and talent, had more than 200 patents to his credit. He changed the way America looked, putting an end to exposed wrists and ankles, constricted waistlines and bursting buttons, that is; no more shrinking. The invention bears his name, Sanforized™. Much more here and here. Our drycleaner used to have a sign "sanforize your shorts!" Love it.

You have your H Bar C and Rockmount of course...stealth pick is to stick with Sears Western. Love the ginghams. The last purchase was deemed a bit rodeo clown by M...but goes great w the blaze/chambray fourth post. Why buy a fake cowboy shirt from JCrew or Banana or whoever when you can nip down to the thrift store and get a real-deal, probably deadstock, shirt like this for 10bucks. Three buttons on the cuff, pencil slot in pocket and thin material make this a great summer worker.

Mission pickle has been accomplished. Little too vinegary after 24hours...maybe that will mellow out. Update 7/15: still too vinegary...lot of work hahaha.

All the '09 trailers are piling up, see Snowboard PPP for the majority. i really like these guys, Alterna Films, for dolly style, cable cam, manual focus all HD footage. Their latest is KNOCKOUT.

burton '09 -contd.

A couple more. I don't see a knock-out print (for me) like the red hunter plaid of last year but the shear technical feat of the neon photoprint and sublimated forest are impressive. Snowboard PPP has links and coverage of the multitude of other '09 winter website launches.

This year Burton are really pushing that you download the catalog (100MB pdf) rather than sign up to have it delivered on dead trees which is a nice touch.
