the strange case of the end of civilization as we know it
The Strange Case... is a 54 minute Sherlock-inspired comedy sketch partially written by John Cleese. Some great wordplay especially for the Watson character. Serious 70's BBC budget production though (i.e. no budget) and horrendous American accents (I mean mangled Brooklyn and other) from everyone else involved. Nothing really to do w Sherlock Holmes but Cleese is great, and the titles are timeless. (thx Sally for this.)

Along with Raquel Welch & Janet Ellis (Blue Peter - Sophie Ellis-Baxter's mum), she spoiled me for all other women in the mid-70's. Stunnas.
