Oma just sent the boy this book
Lost and Found by
Oliver Jeffers (great personal
site, give it a look) about a boy who befriends a penguin. They have also just made a 3-Digitized version on dvd for the UK. Nice and mellow. Looks like a case where the adaptation expands the universe of the book sympathetically. Plus gratuitous crumbly sweater/woolly hat textures. (A
StudioAKA production, who I only knew previously from the
Guiness/beast/rugby ads.)
Watch Lost and Found clip.
This is the second big success for this character, following 2004's
How to Catch a Star. Both worth looking at for the sub-10 y/olds.
