looney tunes

Just started going through the old classic cartoons. Some surprising and v v fun stuff. If you have an RSS with a million feeds you won't sit through the next 28 minutes... but really worth it.

Along Came Daffy
is a 1947 Warner Bros. cartoon in the Looney Tunes series, featuring Daffy Duck and two characters who would later become Yosemite Sam.
All voices are performed by Mel Blanc. Along Came Daffy is one of only two Warner Bros. shorts in which Yosemite Sam is not paired with Bugs Bunny.

Check for the Scotsman shooting, then picking up the bullet that misses to reload.
Thrifty.

The first official appearance of Yosemite Sam. Voice work by Mel Blanc again.

Explain this ending to your son haha... Great episode.
Bugs Bunny Rides Again is a 1947 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies short, released in 1948, directed by Friz Freleng, and written by Tedd Pierce and Michael Maltese.
Voice characterizations are performed by Mel Blanc. The cartoon features Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam. This is a sequel, of sorts, to the pair's first encounter in 1945's Hare Trigger.

After opening credits underscored by the William Tell Overture (as with The Lone Ranger), the music segués into a lively instrumental of Cheyenne as the action begins.
