Going to be the title of my next "non book " about the current siege mentality in the snow bound capital. On the basis that a catchy title is half way there--e.g Is there a Turkey in your sitting room? My Vermont "non memoir". Time to check the store cupboard... and get creative 5 ways with lentils and an onion. Just hold on to that potato.

total chaos indeed, glad we left Scotland a wee bit earlier than planned as we'd have been stranded ...last year you couldn't find table salt at the supermarkets, such was the road salt shortage ...the Gulf Stream's packing it in, this is 3yrs in a row ...'times they are a-[climate] changin' ...!
